New jeep owner

I am a proud new jeep owner (first one of many to come) and I love my patriot. However not happy that jeeps hitches are on back order. I had already purchased a sea-doo and needed a way to tow it home so I had to go with aftermarket parts. But now that it's on there and I can take yay jeep and ski to the lake I'm a happy guy (:

Please don't go with the factory hitch! I did and it serves the purpose but you would be MUCH better off to go with one of the MANY aftermarket that have a 2" receiver. Many more accessories for the 2" and I haven't heard of any not having a good fit AND they are less expensive.

Oh, to the group & on your new Jeep!

I went aftermarket for the hitch and got the 2" and I'm very happy with it plus it cost $100 less than jeep.
