New Compass or Patriot?

So if you were to buy a brand new Compass or Patriot today, which one would you pick? Feel free to reply and explain why

Patriot, no brainer. Looks more Jeep-like.

Compasses are for girls that complain about a vehicle being being too boxy. Boxy is awesome - to me it's a visual sense of strong, rigid, uncomprimised values.

I almost bought one in 2007, but couldn't get past the nasty interior and shoddy engine bay at the time.

Mechanically they are the same... so its more of a personal preference. However, if you carry stuff, the patriot in the back has a bit more room, it looks more traditionally jeep, and looking at resale, seems to have a better resale than the compass... but that is taking into account the older body style which was very polar. I personally went for the patriot (obviously)

The front of the compass looks good, but I still can't stand the look of the rear end... not sure why, but it just doesn't match the upscale look of the front.

The more important thing to figure out is FWD, FDI, or FDII...

Patriot. As was said above they are the exact same vehicle except for some styling( sheetmetal )differences so the only thing that sets them apart is exterior appearance. Maybe a few extra things available on a Compass that aren't on a Patriot like 18" wheels so that may appeal more to some.

I very much prefer the appearance of the Patriot over the Compass however. To me the Compass just seems more suited to a female driver. I mean no offense to any men who have them and like them. Just my personal view on it.

Compass looks better in my opinion. The front of the patriot just doesn't do it for me. Love the compass front end.

I think the new compass looks way better than the old. Patriot too. And both look better with FD2.

I guess if I was trying to pick up guys or just be one of the boys I'd have to get a Patriot, but I'm not, so I chose a Compass that looks a bit more like a Grand Cherokee.

Isnt that why they made both of them in the first place? Because in surveys the girls liked the compass and the guys liked the patriot?

Sorry, the compass just looks better. ALTHOUGH, I wish I did not trade in me 09 JK, but did need a bit more room and a bit more mpg. And that's all I got, a bit more.
