Nervous CVT issues

So wed a noise starts comming from the engine compartment when you do about 30 or higher. I call the dealer ship and say oh it must be just something rubbing it cant be your CVT we cant even remember last time we had to replace one. So the soon as they could see me was today.

2 1/2 hours later of waiting, sir its the CVT... but lets us take you home while we get your authorization for your replacment. Chrysler just has to approve it as your under your lifetime powertrain warranty. We will call you and come pick you up one it is authorize and then you can drive it home it will be fine till we get the part in.

only 34749 miles on it and only 4 years old I just cant beleive I was right. But also now I am a little scared to drive it back home when ever they say it ready to be picked back up with the bad cvt ....

Yeah my dealer ship basically stop doing loaners unless your warranty covered rental car charges. Back when I had my WJ and they did all kidna of work they always gave me a free loaner. Mainly because my jeeps are always pristine and even washed and waxed the loaners so they were good to go for the next person. They never charged me a dime. Now since my orginal service manager is gone is basically like pulling teeth.

I am just thinking that right now the nerves are coming from the waiting then anything else. basically I was told hey go wait while we get authorization on your like time power train and it been 4 hours and it just freaking me out I just want my jeep back. Driveability I now less worry about as I dont drive it too heavily and I can work from home if I need too.

Have to wait till monday , chrysler was still wanting images from the cvt. Dealer ended up putting me in a loaner something they dont normally do any more. Only complaint is I forgot how nice it is to sit up high . They gave me a Ram 1500 to drive around in.

Yeah, the Ram 1500s and larger SUVs sure feel nice and secure sitting up that high. But just think of the fuel costs.
