Ok ladies and gents! My step mom has decided it's time to ditch the grand caravan in favour of something new.... I tried getting her into a jku but that just wasn't gonna happen. She's got it narrowed down to either patriot or a journey (Bleh).

What I need is a few "why the patriot is better" kinda things. What's it got that the journey doesn't that I may have missed... Keep in mind she isn't gonna wheel so saying "you can't take a journey in the rocks" is going to be completely pointless

Let her pick the vehicle she likes. Offer your opinion and then let her decide. Both the Journey and the Patriot are good vehicles. If you push your favorite on her and she ends up not liking it she will blame you. Let her get the one she likes. She will pay for it and drive it.

a lot has to depend on needs. journey seats up to 7 and gets max 26 mpg, patriot gets up to 30 and only seats 5. Journey has a lot more room in it. so unless you're putting a lot of money into it yourself, I would say leave it up to her (and I agree patriot does look better)
