There was some speculation in the Expedition West article (I believe) that it might be possible to gain some height by just swapping in longer struts that might be good for about 2 inches in height before the CV angles were out of whack.

I've read that same information SOMEWHERE but unfortunately not there, but that's why I've wanted to stay with a 2" max lift, the CV angles. If someone runs across that info I hope that they would re-post it here. I'm glad that you remember something on that too.

It's a great read so here is the link again to the article.

Ah, another forum, not the article. Thanks for finding that, it answered several questions for me . It needs to be read all of the way threw and all of the info on mods will apply to any MK. Sheet metal doesn't change the platform.

2" is all the Compass would need to stuff a little bigger tires under it and make it look a little more aggressive. I want new wheels and tires for it, but not until it sits higher.

Rocky-road

Anyone know how Rocky-road's coming with their lift for the Patriot? (I know Rocky-road has customer service but I'd still love to see a lift for the Patriot). Or does anyone know of any other companies coming out with a lift for it?

Lift kit for Patriot?

Hi. Does anyone know if they make a lift kit for the Patriot?

Note from Gramps: Go to http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f98/mk-lift-kit-available-479207/ for Lift Kit info. The kit fits all MK's.
