The latest email from Glenn at RRO:

Hopefully guys come to us when there is a problem first instead of a chat board. We can and will fix any engineering issues as soon as we know about them, but... we do need to know.

We're actually a bit excited that Chrysler is building a project trail Patriot and are working with us on their project. The one at the SEMA show was for show only and wasn't safely driveable. The vehicle they are building with our assistance will be something they are going to be taking around the country to prove the trailworthiness of the vehicle.

We're happy their engineers came to us for help.

All I can say is "way to go!" Hopefully with my honey instead of vinager approach we could get some first hand info on the project. This geezer is getting kinda excited!

Turns out the Rockkrawler crew hooked a guy up with a lift for his MK. I guess they aren't sure about whether or not they'll manufacture it for sale, but at least they were able to crank one out.

Front: 3"
Back: 2.5"

I've never posted pictures before, and in truth I wouldn't want to steal the dude's thunder. Just thought I'd pass it along. You guys know where to find the pics. So far, he's only got his stock tires, and there is no pictures of actual components.

Called RRO today about 11:30 their time. "Steve" asked for my order number and whether it was bent or broken and said he would get some out to me as soon as he could. No problems at all.

Our RRO lift is very noisy and I'm not happy with it in general. I'm really hoping that a full strut lift comes out sometime.

compass lift

so it would appear to me that with the rro lift and maybe 1/2 inch spacres you could fit 31" tires. would 31" instead of 29" be worth it? I only want to achieve lift to get on and of the beach.

Im going to need some good highway tires that can handle the sand. It gets pretty deep in some spots and pretty soft to. Also I am assuming that if I get 1/2 inch wheel spacres that I will need longer lugs, is that correct?
