Lower front control arms 07 Compass

I am in a pickle and cannot find front control arms that are in stock and not back ordered. The earliest I can get them from any source is March 15. Does anyone know if I can get after market parts without the ball joints or with them . I can buy the ball joints from a parts store but I am unable to press the old out because they are crimped in....

Thank for any help...

These are the same as what the Caliber uses and both FWD and 4x4 MK's. I just had mine replaced and they had them in stock at the dealers.

If you can't find them locally I found them online here https://www.checkanumber.com/advsear...t_no=5105041ae and https://www.checkanumber.com/advsear...t_no=5105040ae

or here and enter the part numbers. https://www.checkanumber.com/advsearch.php?start=95700

As far as I know you need to replace the complete units as the LCA bushings are not serviced separately either. Good luck.

Also try Wyckoff Click on the top banner that says Replacement parts catalog. They showed the left but not the right. Shoot them an email if needed. I've dealt with them before and they are listed as a JF Vendor.

Thanks,

At least I know there are some in the country somewhere. Is there a shortage due to a falty ball joint, possibly a recall Item??

Thanks again, those prices are reasonable as well

I just took a look in the TSB's, Recalls and RRT's and didn't see anything on them. I did read, in my searching, that some were only getting 35K miles out of their bushings. I was just shy of 60K on mine but everything seemed fine until I slid in to a ditch.

Those are good prices. My dealer charged $275 apiece for them (they tack on an extra 10% an everything) but since I claimed it as being caused buy the accident, insurance paid for it.

You may try to ask your dealer a goodwill for replacement. If your mileage is small enough, you might get the replacement for free. I got it @ 45 000 km, after the end of warranty period.
