Loose seat bolts..

On my 2011 Compass the driver's side seat started rocking about a week ago. Finally got to looking at it and one of the bolts that mounts the seat/chair to the rail sliders was loose. Naturally it took a star or torques bit? Anyway the size needed for my rig was a T-45. Had to buy a whole set today as I was away from home and didn't want to risk my safety in an accident. I will need ti get some blue thread lock ti prevent this from happening again. Just thought I'd share the info.

Can you post a pic of where the loose bolt is? Mine has been loose ever since new and I can't figure out where the problem is.

I can later tonight when I get home. My is an unpowered seat and it was behind the plastic cover the hides the seat rails on the door side of the chair.

If you follow the seat catch (the one between your legs) to either side you'll find the bolts that attach the front two rail gliders to the seat. If the bolt on the gear selector side is loose it might be tricky to get to.

In this photo you can see the front cross bar and rear mounting bolts. It was dark when I took these photos sorry about lighting.

Thanks a lot! I'm going to chase mine down this weekend. I left it at the dealer for it once and they said it was from "a broken cd case stuck in the track". One year later it still wobbles.
