Loose Joints On Lower Control Arms!!

I have been told that I have loose joints on my lower control arms in the front of my '07 Patriot and must right away. After reading so much here and around the web, it seems this flaw is caused by Chrysler's cheap parts. My questions are:

1- Am I going to have to look forward to a $1,100 repair bill every 40-80K depending on how I drive even after replacing once?

2- I have read that Mood makes replacement joints and joint/arms that people seem to like... are these much better than the part Chrysler would use? I don't want to pay $1,100 to have this work done with cheap parts if I can spend a little more for something that won't fail like the originals/OEM.

3- The Jeep dealership estimated $1,100 which seems high... have people found that you could find non-dealerships do just as good a job for this specific work for less?

Kind of stressing about doing this right and before it causes an accident... Thanks!!
