Light Bar Options (Compass)

I really love the Liberty Renegade 4-light Bar. It's molded plastic and looks clean. I approached my local Jeep Parts Counter and they did a little research for me. Sadly, the rooflines are too different for anything but a total custom installation. With it being over $400, I'm not sure I want to try a custom install...

Not to be discouraged, I have found the following option:

Mopar part #s and description follow.

#82209125
Roof Basket Carrier, Mounts to production side rails; includes air deflector and logo.
$339.00

#82210247
Complete wiring kit for installing up to 4 Off- Road Lights to the Mopar Accessory Roof Basket.
$159.00

#82209812
Mounting Brackets for adding a pair of Off-Road Lights to Roof Basket
$79.00

#82208488AB
Set of 2 rectangular Lamps with Black plastic housing, 55-watt, 90,000 candle power, with Hella/Mopar logo covers
$129.00

Should look something like this totally assembled:

Of course there are cost saving options, like subtraciting the install kit and mounting brackets and perhaps using no-name or cheaper lights.

Think I'm going to go for the basket and see what develops!

Nice!

I'm guessing I would need to purchase the Mopar Sport Ute Bars and that's it!

For those curious:

Sport Ute Bars: Black, mounts to production side rails, includes T-slots
$219.00

glad someone else liked my suggestion.

I was half daydreaming earlier (keep in mind its 3:30 am and i cant sleep because of pain) and was thinking about what i'd do for my patriot when i get it.

I think what i ended up deciding on in my dreams was two pair of hella optilux 2550 lights on the forward sport bar, possibly even bolted to the underside of the bar so i dont lose the functionalty of the rack as i need it.

plus i think 4 oval lights with angel eyes would look awesome at night (light beam off, but with the halos on)
