Has anyone fabricated their own light bar for the compass? I've searched everywhere on this forum and the only person I've seen is horsey2k and he doesn't seem to be an active forum member anymore so I can't contact him. I really want to add a light bar to my setup but don't quite know where to start. Any ideas?
98 XJ Sport Budget Build
I have been looking for a light bar myself for my 2007 compass. I found one on Amazon for about 80 bucks. It's a solid four light bar that sits on the body. I have yet to buy it but will post up pictures when done.
smittybuilt makes a license plate light bar mount. Perfect for those new LED 9-12 inch light bars (with composite fog AND driving light LEDs) or you could install the wireless controller Warn driving OR fog lights like I did. Works great and was super easy to install!
just asking, but why would you want to do this on a compass? Like bars complete the rugged look, and for off road use of wranglers, and older grand cherokees, but since a compass is mostly a city car, why? not trying to bash, just asking as i've never seen a compass with one, though i think it might look good, its kinda useless
Okay that's a good reason to do that, I can see it being done for that, but you gotta admit most people in small cross over SUVs like Hondas and stuff do stuff like light bars for the sole purpose to make it look "like a real truck" or cool, hahah do you know how stupid crvs look with beefy tires and light bars? Ha
