just got this cheap-small mod

Just paid for a master window switch from a Dodge Charger for $17 shipped on ebay. I know its not a big mod but something that the modding bug inside of me has to do just because (the ones who do stuff like this will understand what I mean). Just something I do to make my Compass different from the pack. next will be the other doors, yellow fog bulbs and rear bumper "Compass" inlay decal (black to contrast the silver and match the paint).

What is different about it? Looks like the same switch that is in my Patriot.

That's what it looks like on mine, too. It was probably different with the 2007 model.

All 4 window switches light up not just the drivers window. Its a mod I found on myjeepcompass.com and a caliber forum. If u also get the other window switches from a Charger they light up too. Its all plug and play.

they all light up on the newer models, maybe they replaced the old module with the one that you found?

IRSmart-I hav a 2007 so only the drivers window lights up.
felix-its 1 torx screw and pull off the door panel and unclip the window switch. very easy in terms of modding something but if ur into modding than any hastle is worth it. I hav done smallthings that take a lot of work but just wanted to.
