Jeep Patriot/Compass rallye edition
I saw one and think they kick ***!! But I wonder...other than the exterior visual changes (body kit, lights, wheels, badges, and spoiler) was there any changes to the drive train or motor. Maybe a turbo, better axles, AWD?? Please inform me. I am looking into getting one of these and want to know new changes.

Kyle. I hope that a Rallye owner verifies this but it's primarily is an appearance package except the exhaust. I believe they use the one from the caliber R/T. It would have been nice if it had the MOPAR CAI, a CATBACK exhaust and some other goodies but no. The one thing that you won't like (neither does anybody else) is the Firestone Firehawks that it comes with but the black wheels are too cool and you can get some better tires!

There's only Compass Rallye, no Patriot Rallye, right?

As a 2008 Compass Rallye owner, I can tell you that it is just appearance....overall, the Compass has good performance, but Rallye or not, this vehicle ain't gonna win any races. But the Rallye package gives the Compass a much more sporty look. Not sure if I would order a Rallye (given the ~$2,500 price tag), but the dealer gave me a great deal on a black Rallye 5 spd and he knew I was looking for black and 5 spd.
PS the 9 speaker Boston Aucustic sound system sounds great, if you get a chance to add that...

A Firehawks is a Firehawk whether it's on a Rallye or a Limited. Expect a rise in tire/road noise as you add on the miles. This starts at about 20K for most folks and the tires don't last much beyond 30K, if that. Just something to be aware of. How many miles on yours Paul?

Bob - I only have like 4500 miles on mine so far - thanks for the heads up - when the miles get up there I'll start looking around for better alternatives

Looking at picking up one of these beautiful rides! However, I wonder about the no tow package. The looks are worth it IMO, but I also doubt I would ever tow anything with such a small engine....
your thoughts??? Get the package or not????

I love mine - very unique (still haven't seen another one on the road yet)
we already get dissed by all the other Jeep owners for not driving a 'real Jeep' might as well go all the way!
you could probably trim the rear fascia to make room for the trailer hitch if you really want it
(Oh and I believe the Rallye also added a rear sway bar - over the stock Compass)

Jeep Compass Rallye package...
They are somewhat hard to find with that package. Found a few here and there. They had a Silver on at the Chicago Auto Show that looked great.
Lemme see if I have a few pics...
Original Compass Concept Car...
Jeep Compass Rallye model in Red...
Jeep Compass Rallye model in Silver at Chicago Auto Show...
And the Startech aftermarket company treatment...
PS Couldn't find a Rallye Patriot!
