Interesting. Will PM questions be considered as well? I don't wanna steal yall's thunder, so I'll wait to find out first. I hope it goes well for you all, as I might not be able to make it. I hope the other jeepers here that dont have MKs are respectable about it. to you guys.

The Jeep Engineers don't accept PM's, I've tried it. I'm sure they would get overload if they did. However, I'll volunteer to post questions from others that can't make it IF I get them early enough to get them organized. Maybe a few others out there would be willing to do the same. I don't want it to look like I'm hogging all of their time and your name would be on the question but it would still be my avatar hangin' out there on the left side. You can post them here or send me a pm if you like.

How do I respond to Jeep engineers/post question

How do I respond with questions? Do you post them? Is this a live chat with Jeep?

I do have a major question for them. I need more power. Send this to Jeep. Just as with the Caliber. I would like to install a Mopar performance exhaust for the Jeep Compass. I have the K&N CAI on my Jeep Compass. I would install the tubular header and the cat-back exhaust as a package just like on the Caliber if I knew it would fit. My Jeep Compass is a 4X2 5speed limited.

I don't want to miss this one. Been waiting for this. When is it? I will make time for it and find a WiFi hotspot.

Go into Jeep Engineering - Q & A and get a feel for how it's done. It's pretty fast and furious at times that's why I suggest typing up your questions now in something like MS Word and then when the time comes you can just cut and paste each question from your master list. Also while reading threw others questions and having the Engineers reply it may bring up another question that you'll have and that's when you'll do your fastest typing to get it posted. Try and only do one question at a time, multiple posts (not duplicate) are preferred to one post with 10 different questions although one question relating to performance/exhaust/mpg or the like is fine. There are normally several Engineers involved that handle different categories of questions; i.e. engine, drivetrain, electrical, suspension, audio, etc. There are times when they may take a while to respond because someone is doing research and others are doing answering. It is absolutely LIVE!

The Guys who do this are SUPER and deserve some major kudos for taking on the MK's!

I will be moderating, posting for others that can't be there and trying to get my own questions in. Good thing I'll be at home and the beer fridge is handy.

Sweet!
I think I will go into work early on the 29th so I can get home in time. I like your idea of having the questions ready in advance....

Gramps,
i´m not sure if i could make it but please ask them/him if there are internal fixes planned or done to fix the Patriot roof leaks and the flappen hood problem. guess these are the 2 major problems still not mentioned in the Patriot TSB lists.

Thanks.

Not necessarily. Better breathing usually will give you more power and so will programming but keeping your foot out of it may maintain your mpg. My daughters Liberty has more power but no hope of getting better than about 16/17 mpg.

Correct time

Just to clarify, the announcement says 7pm Eastern Standard Time, since we're on Daylight Saving Time I assume they mean 7pm Eastern Daylight Time. Just putting ET would make it less confusing. Sounds interesting, looking forward to it.
