Please see if you get a chance to upload a video sometime of how it sounds. What do you think of the sound though thus far?? I have a 2011 Patriot but still looking for some good exhaust options.

Props to you! I really need to do the K&N + this exhaust before I start driving it in the winter.

Does it feel any quicker/more responsive? I listened to your video of the exhaust on your 08..can't see any reason it would sound different.

Its very difficult to feel any difference with the CTV transmission on lower speeds. On the highway it definitely feels alot smoother. Acceleration feels better but its nothing earth shattering. Again, i do this more for the improvement of MPGs.

True it doesn't sound too different. The only difference between the too cars was the old one was a manual and the new one is an auto.

K&N what? Just a filter, or the FIPK? If it's just the filter, don't bother. K&N just has a great marketing dept, there's no benefit to that product. If you want a reuseable filter, go with Amsoil. No oiling involved with that one, and it filters better.

I hadn't really decided, but the FIPK is cheap enough where I'd probably try that. Basically the same setup w4rh4wk has tried would be nice.

Why won't they fit Patriots ?

Perhaps the 4x2 and 4x4 exhaust systems are different ?

- 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport S
- 2014 Jeep Compass Latitude 4x4
- 2012 Jeep Liberty Latitude 4x4 - gone
- 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade Rocky Mountian Edition - gone
