How to post pictures/My Compass options
This for the computer geeks. I'm not to good with a computer. How to I download pictures from a digital camera and post them on a thread here at the site? I know how to send them in an email, thats about it.
I would like to send some pictures of my Compass. Here the list of equipment I have and the modifications I have done: Compass Limited Fwd Jeep Green paint 5-speed manual RAQ head unit(6 disc changer) Boston Acoustics sound system Sirius radio Sun roof Drivers conveinance group(EVIC) Engine block heater Trailer-tow package Full-size spare I had to order the Compass from the factory. There wasn't a Compass Limited Fwd with the 5-speed manual within 300 miles of where I live. The trailer group adds the auxillary engine oil cooler and the trailer wiring harness. I have also installed the Mopar hitch for the Compass. I have also dressed it up with a chrome fuel door and the stainless steel door door entry guards. I'm still looking for a chrome or billet grill for it. Mopar doesn't offer one, yet. I shortened the shifter handle and installed a chrome sphere Momo shift knob with two toned wooden inlays that match the two tone tan leather seats. I want to go with bigger chrome wheels/tires to dress it up. Does anyone know when, or if Mopar will release the Cold-air intakes and the exhaust systems for the Compass? Those pieces are available for the Caliber/RT

Thanks dooboy2112 for the link
Can i assume that you have you pictures located on your computer like in "my Pictures"? If not let me know. You can not post pictures as an attachment unless you are a supporting member. Go here for more info on becoming a member: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f98/announcement-a.html If you do that then you click on “Go Advanced” below the post message box and use the “paper clip” to attach the picture from your own computer just like sending them in an email. These attachments are limited to about 101.2 KB each. The second best way is to join a “photo linking site” like: http://photobucket.com/ It’s free, easy and lets you post the link to larger pictures that you store there by downloading them from you computer. There are other “photo linking site” that you can use, but some have changed the links to porno pictures and even though the user may not realize it, it is grounds for being banned, so recheck you posts after using their sites. Photobucket is known to be a good site.

It isn't that you aren't good at computing, it is because you didn't read the stickies or rules under the admin section.
This had no tech for Compass.

I strongly encourage everyone to go to JF Home page and look through the ADMIN section at least once a week. There is a lot of info there that will save you time and frustration. The latest information on the site will be there first.
