How much did you get off sticker?

Last I saw there is $1500.00 cash back from Chrysler, do not know if that changed with the start of August. I am considering a Sport 4x4 with a 5-speed, power accessories package, sunroof, wheel and tire package and maybe the heated seats (can you get this without leather?) Any ideas on what if anything besides the cash back I can hope for?

Yesterday, I picked up a 2008 Wrangler X with power package, auto trans, and the preferred package (whatever they call it). Sticker was $24325, and they gave me $2000 off.

I paid about 19500.-$ in Dec 06 for pretty much what you are describing (no heated seats in the sport then) and have no regrets at all.

For my Rallye Sport Compass, which stickered at 23,500...I got 2,500 + 500 dollar back and a generous trade on a car worth nothing (1000)...so with an additional 1000 dollars down, I borrowed just a few shekels over 18K...

I got $3500 off msrp for my '08 Sport 4x2 Patriot. ($2500 cash back + $500 memorial weekend sale + $500 haggle).

$15,500 - $3500 = $12k even.

Not a bad deal for a new vehicle. Sold my '04 mazda b2300 truck for $5,500, and used it as a down payment.

2007 Patriot 4x4 Ltd. FDII

Start watching for year-end deals. And, if you're willing to risk slim pickings, wait for '09 and buy a left over '08. I bought two left-over new Patriots last January.

My Patriot was the last one on the lot - probably 'cause it's loaded and listed for $25,000. I got it for $19,000. That's $6,000 off.

I bought another Patriot from a different lot the next day for my mother and got a similar deal. It probably helped that I paid cash for both vehicles.

Bill

i got my 08 compass sport in december 07 for i think 17.5k vs the 23.5k window price. the reason that my parents could get this price is because the dealership that we were at needed to sell one more new vehicle to maintain their 5-star dealership status which is worth far more than what they discounted us. idk if that makes sense but yeah
