I'm like JeepGirlInCT - walked in filled paperwork and drove away probably within a 2 hour window as well

They were practically giving away the 07's

Well we just found out the Jeep is being shipped from Wisconsin. They expect it'll be another two weeks now! It'll have to shipped to the border, go through customs, and then get to here. This wait has been near tormenting!

It's here!

Pardon my excitement but...

It's finally here!

It took about 9 and half weeks, but it's here!

My wife and I went in last night and said goodbye to her '99 VW Beetle, and my old girl, a '98 Ford Escort ZX2, and took home the new '08 Compass North with only 5kms on the odometer!

I won the battle too about being the one to drive it off the lot. We then just took turns last night cruising around with our close friends (s10eater is one of them and on his forum). They were both comfy too with the reclining rear seats. Feels great when you're used to owning a 2-door and people in the back were always uncomfortable.

So that's the update! My friend also brought his camera for me, so when I get pictures from him, and some of my own, I'll post them up in the other thread.
