Hidden Sub woofer ??

Has anyone tried to build a subwoofer that could fit in an unused spare tire compartment?? I'm interested in making one, any tips or advice?

should be easy enough, just need plywood that will fir over the spare tyre hole, and you main bit will be ebsuring it doesnt rattle or vibrate through sealing it into place.
main problem I would guess though is it is then in the midle of your boot and if you plan to use your boot you will need a hard surface across the top of the sub which will then rattle and vibrate.
dont know what patriot boot is like but in compass I would use the eaves on either side of the boot to fit 2 small subs.

How about try to make one like my stock sub that's in the center compartment of my jeep. If you want I can send yea a pic. I know of people that upgrade the sub and it stays hidden and know one knows it's there. Just google it.

Hmmm all good points. But yes, could you post a pic of your center compartment sub?
