HELP: How to remove Center Armrest ???

Hi. I just bought a pair of DVD player Headrests and I need to remove/detach the center armrest to be able to pass the wires and connect to a 12V source (thinking about the 110V aux. outlet area would have 12V input), it's the nearest place I see from front seats. I removed the 2 screws at the bottom of the CD storage and the thing moves up a bit but it seems to be attached somehow with the center console (where the shifter is) and I can't find how. I tried to pull it up but I don't want to break anything. I searched on the net with no luck. Please help me!

FIG 1
Set the parking brake lever in the up position.
Remove the two screws from the console bin.
Lift the console (4) up at the front from underneath right hand and left hand sides of console base at the same time and release the console clips (1).
Lift console from rear and release the rear clips (3).
Disconnect the electrical connector (6).

FIG 2
Lift the console (1) up and over the park break lever (2) and remove.

Thanks Gramps! You're the man! Have the wiring diagram for that connector by any chance? I'll use my voltmeter to find the 12V input I guess. It's rainy today, I'll try to finish that installation, I'll post some pics.

See if this helps. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f98/m...7/#post3833216

The AC power outlet receives 12 volts from the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) and passes it as an enable signal to the inverter module. The inverter module also receives 12 volts via the TIPM and inverts this to a 110 volt AC output. The enable signal received from the power outlet enables the inverter to convert the received voltage and pass it to the power outlet to power external devices.

This also may help http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f98/t...module-458804/

Thanks again. I found the 12V input that goes to the power inverter, wire is Pink with yellow stripe. I grounded on one of the bolts that holds the hand brake assembly to the car floor. Now I have a clean permanent installation, everything works fine & both dvd players are also connected togheter so they can share their video source, all wires are hidden under the center arm rest.
