Stock bulbs in the box. The bulbs themselves were blue which I automatically was a little disappointed by but atleast it's not any WORSE. If anything, the light output is whiter which will probably help my parents see a little better at night.

Ordering the euro spec part may be a hard concept for the dealer.

BTW. Hella's micro DE lights would tuck up under the airdam pretty well, and they put out an amazing amount of light for their size.
Any websites or information you can give me about where/how to order the e-codes would be great. I'll look into the Micro DE lights though, that's another alternative.

Well, we need a part number first, Gramps?

Then a dealer who'll order them for you.

As for the DE's, please dont go back to sequahana to order them.

check with pfc factory outlet on ebay. if they dont have them listed, they'll probably still have them in inventory

I don't understand why everyone would reccomend the susquanna website if it sucks? A whole bunch of people, even mods, on Nasioc recommended the site to me.

Thanks for the links... I will send them an email today!

Its the company behind the website. They have very shady business practices when it comes to competition. They've in the past contacted buyers on eBay who were the high bidder on their competitor's auctions, stating that if they bought from the other store, they wouldn't have a warranty, or the parts weren't genuine Hella, etc.

Even before this, i wouldn't have bought from them because they like to sell for MSRP + markup, they have horrible customer service, and only recently did they have a toll free order line.

They've also tried to pass off non-SAE rated hella emergency lighting to distributors as SAE. That was a few years back.

The Headlight Reflectors/Buckets are different for Euro. The correct term is Headlight Capsules; the Euro part number is 5303 876AA for the right side and 5303 877AA for the left side. They also call for a different bulb, L00 H4 60W. The UK listing said that they were self leveling.

I'm going to look into them some time this week. Any idea how much those go for?

Sorry, not a clue. You might try Google-ing the part number, you may find something.

Well that wasn't a very good suggestion, was it? I tried it myself just now and got nowhere. I would suggest calling your local dealer or contacting jeff@wyckoffchrysler.com.

I have a very nice parts guy that i work with, or maybe i should say he works with me. He shows a lot of patients with my sometimes strange requests and by printing out parts list and copying accessory catalogs and such. I know that the price lists for these things are not in the program with the part numbers because prices are always changing, so looking up prices is extra work and I really try not to push for too many favors.

Ok, my Compass doesn't have DRL's. Am I missing something? Option I don't have?

Best bet for better headlights would be HID's. Next best is the latest Silverstar bulbs. Nokya also makes a good set of bulbs that are cheaper. Don't expect any cheap bulb to last more than a few weeks to a few months at the most. Spend at least 30-40 bucks for a pair of bulbs to have good performance/reliability in one package.

yeah, well, you cant exactly drop hid bulbs into a reflector style housing that was designed for halogen bulbs

Correct, but with the size of the capsules on the Compass, it would not be too hard to retrofit an HID system.
