Headlight - Highbeam goes out

Hello, a while back I replaced my drivers side headlamp due to the headlight not working (low or high). After about three weeks; I noticed that when I turn the high beams on the drivers side headlamp goes out. This has happened twice (this is the second lamp replacement) on the same side. I'm very careful not to touch the lamp during the install. Could this be caused by a short or bulb incompatibility or cheap part??

Kind Regards
Brian

It could be cause by any of what you've mentioned. Also check for any other loose connections including fuses.
