Going to pick up 08 Patriot today!

I just purchased a 2008 Patriot for my wife to replace our 2000 Focus Wagon. I put 139000 miles on the Focus, and I hope to get just as many on the Patriot. We drove a "D" package Patriot and we just didn't like the complete lack of features. We're new parents and the manual locking doors and lack of cruise control were just kind of weird. I could understand if I was buying a Chevy Aveo or something.

Here's a breakdown of the specs and the price I paid:

2008 Patriot 2WD CVT
26E Package
Wheel and Tire package
Inferno Red

$18,600 incl tax, title, etc- $1800 Trade in = $16,800 out the door.

I brought the Patriot back to the dealer last night to get the rear splash guards installed. There was a rattling noise right near the center console. It ended up being the emergency brake cable not being hooked up. My wife and I are very happy with it so far.
