General question regarding TSB's...

I understand that the Tech Service Bulletin's are not meant to be recalls, but if you find that you are having problems that seem to be covered under one or more of them that have been issued, is that covered like it would be a recall by Jeep, or would all normal fees and costs apply?

The reason I'm asking is I'm over my 36K limit for the bumper to bumper warranty, but I've noticed a few small items that seem to be covered under TSB's out there, that I'd like to have done. Since the dealer is going to have the Compass for at least a day sometime in the next week or so to take care of the check engine light issue I thought it might be a decent time to at least see if any of the other issues could be done at the same time.

Any information or insight into how TSB's are handled by dealers would be greatly appreciated.

They are covered if you are still under warranty but it NEVER hurts to ask if it's expired. You have nothing to lose.
