Gear shift lock-up..easy temp fix

The other day my gearshift locked up and wasn't able to get it out of Park. I remember from the past that some folks had this problem and by taking the plastic plug off from the passenger side of the gearshift console, there's a white plastic lever there that when pushed forward will release the gearshift, and it worked flawlessly. I'll have to see if service will replace anything since after I got to work it worked fine, but just wanted to give a heads up in case someone else hasn't seen the previous threads about this.
