i've seen the libby renagade style lights on both compass and patriot demo versions, i'd assume they'd likely be availiable soon thru mopar.

i saw a libby renagade right now and thought of this thread.
lol.

They may look good, but the diffuser lens diffuses the light too much.
absolutly not functional.

Get raped on price for looks if you want.

I just won a pair of KC slimlights on ebay for the cherokee.
When i do get the patriot, they're getting 55w bulbs (to make them street legal) and getting swapped to the patriot

Look better then OEM and half the price, and 3x the functionality.

I went looking around on ebay under Dodge Caliber to see what kind of goodies that they've come out with for it. Looks like there are headers for the 1.8 and 2.0; Performance chips (several): an electric Supercharger and some cool R/T style graphics . As always on eBay - buyer beware and don't believe everything that you read . I'm only trying to say that there may be some pieces out before too long for the Compass/Patriot. You may want to go looking in the Caliber forums for some performance mods. If it fits and works on the R/T (NOT SE or SXT) it should work OK on our Jeeps.

Do keep in mind though that some things work only on 2x4 or AWD/4x4 versions. There's minor differences here and there, otherwise I do believe most Caliber stuff R/T that is will work on a Compass.

Right . Since the Caliber R/T is AWD, there may be some stuff that won't work on the MK's with 2WD. Research is critical to getting the right pieces. Don't assume too much!

OK, now that the Slush Mat Season is about over, how did your slush mats do? My "Slush Mats for the frugal" got me threw the season but I was always pulling them back into place so I'm looking for something better. How were the Mopar ones? Did they stay in place or slide around?

New mats in new compasses

I don't know if Jeep has been listening to you guys or what, but my new Compass has Jeep floormats. They're not slush mats, but they look just like the pics Gramps put up - except of course they have a big "Jeep" emblazoned on them.

among the accessories one could get were those exact style driving lights like on the rallye edition compass.

Maybe that means that I'll get mine pretty soon, I hope! If not, I'll make a stop at the dealers. Kinda funny on the Compass brochure, I picked up one in Albuquerque before they were available locally and then got one in the mail about a month later. Any info on the FD II package in there?

I do wonder what's going to happen with the separate forums on the Compass/Patriot since they're both MK and SO much of the info relates to both. The Compass Forum has been running longer so most of the info appears to be over here. It would be a big waste of server space to do double postings so I'll just keep going back and forth and hope that everybody catches the info. Any thoughts on that?

Personally i think we should move the patriot out of the "upcoming models"

But a combined MK forum would make sense
Like the cherokee forum has 3 subsections, the MK could have the two sections.

And, the jeep dealer that i like better just got two units in, including a white sport with FD2. So its test drive time.

Gramps, yes, there was a page on the FD2 package.

Just looking at the way the other Forums and Sub-Forums are set up, I like the way that "New and Future Models" is done.

we could have a

MK Forum to cover the chassis

and maybe 3 Sub-Forums 1 each for

Compass
Patriot
Off-Road/Snow, etc

There I go trying to think again.
