First Off-Road Experience!

Hey All,

I took the family out to a local forest park here in the sunny coast of Qld (Australia). It is a popular track for off-roading, called "Archer Camp" - Mt Mee. Funny name I know. I managed to take some pics "after" the trip, but also took some video on the phone. It is not the best quality, however my gf did take some video of us crossing a creek which was damn exciting!

There are some other clips of us driving through the 4wd track, but because of the quality you can't see much of the track. I'll continue to post the video's once I familiarise with YouTube (uploading).

For now here are the creek crossing vids and after pics:

Cool videos and pics! You gotta get some new tires on there...those look like they would be horrible off road.

Yeah they're the stock Continentals, the treads are still in near new condition, barely worn. On some of the steep inclines with nothing but mud, they did a pretty decent job! It was good to feel the 4x4 in action.

With the creek crossing, the video doesn't do much justice. In person - it was hard to tell how deep it was, then a couple of big 4x4's crossed - and I could tell it was shallow enough for the compass. So I went for it and it was the coolest experience!

Was the best fun i've had in a car that I own, and am keen to plan the next trip!
