factory stereo trouble

I was wanting to put in 4 infinity speakers front and rear, and need to put in an amp to power them. i don't have the Boston acoustics sound system, i just have the basic CD player with aux. jack and whatnot. Does anyone know if there is a way to hook an amp up to the factory head unit? (i.e. RCA outputs). i don't really want to tear up the new jeep just to find out out it can't be done.

use an amp that has high level inputs. Then just input the speaker wires into the "high level inputs" and your good to go.
