My dealer JUST started a buy 4 and get one free. It's better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Did you add those "goodies" to your profile?

That's pretty sad. If you can't find any just give me a weeks notice and I'll get some for you.

Michael,

Here's another thread on oil changes:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showt...=362591&page=3

See post #46. The dealer is still going to recommend the same interval for oil changes as what is in the owners manual.

PS: I plan to use Mobil 1 in the Caliber.
Heck the old 528 we owned had 280K on it with Castrol 10/40, thats a result of a quality vehicle not oil.

Oil

Anyone running Ams Oil Synthetic 0W-30 Motor Oil (TSO) with AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO)?

With already 1200 miles and a trip to Maryland coming up...my 1st oil change is coming very soon.

What schedule are you using? I use the 6k one, never ran any of that in mine yet (only changed the oil once though!) I used Mobil 1 5W-20 Synthetic (Group IV Synthetic) and an AC Delco filter (couldn't find a Mopar one that fit.)

Haven't decided which schedule, but by running aimsoil 12,000 mile it wont really matter
