E 85?

I am looking for some information on E85 fuel. I was reading about it on some of the other forums, and this is what I think I understand:

Any car manufactured after 1990/91 or so is set up for E85.

BUT...then I see all of this info on setting up a vehicle to be compatible with E85. Does this mean that post-90/91 vehicles still need some sort of modification in order to run E85, or is this info provided for pre-90/91 vehicles?

As always, any help anyone could offer is appreciated!

any "flex fuel" (E85 compatable car) will have a yellow gas cap, that will say something to the effect of "E85/Gasoline ONLY". diesel trucks have green gas caps, and regular gas cars have black.

putting E85 in your car is perfectly fine, as long as you don't mind paying for an entirely new fuel system not covered by the warranty.
