Door lock on compass 2008

HI All,
I have a compass 2008,to which when i press the fob to open the doors,all doors open apart from the passenger side, if i then lock the doors again,then unlock,i am then able to open the door?

any ideal welcome?

Pressing the unlock button once should only unlock the driver door only. Press the unlock a second time and all remaining doors should unlock. Otherwise there is a programming error that needs to be corrected. It's programmed this way for safety i.e. car jacking, forced entry, etc.

Not necessarily. That can be changed in the EVIC. Mine opens all doors on one push. I set it that way.

Or maybe it was a key to ON, and program it with the FOB. Either way its programmable.
