Daytime Running Lamps

Has anyone had them activated/deactivated at the dealer?

I took mine in to have them activated and they concluded it was not possible. I then contacted Chrysler and they told me my Compass would have needed to have been equipped with the (LMK) Daytime Running Lamp code.

It sounds like its just a matter of installing the code.

Yeah, thats how they work. They stay on, even if the parking lights are off, untill you turn on your headlights.
