Just looking to get an opinion or see if there have been others with similar issues.
We have 2008 Patriot 2wd with approx. 120,000 miles on it. Business requires a lot of road time. It has been serviced at all regular intervals suggested in owners manual. At 60,000 had the required servicing done except the transmission, dealer said it did not need it till 100,000 miles. Had transmission serviced at 100,000 this past October now approximately 20,000 miles and 4 months later the transmission is acting up (not shifting properly). We have had a few mechanic friends (know and trust) look at it and they all agree that the tranny is not shifting properly and it does not look as if the pan has ever been removed. Looking back at paperwork when tranny was serviced there is no mention of filters ever being changed just the fluid. We are taking it back to the dealer that did the servicing and see what can be done about it, ie they need to fix the problem at their expense (yeah I know good luck with that), anyway does anyone have a comment or advice on this.
Thanks for any input
