CVT recalibration for more low speed torque ?

Hello,

I am interested to know if anyone knows about the CVT calibration for the 08 Jeep Patriot, and if it can be calibrated to provide more torque and faster response, especially at launch.

Or in general if there are any tools available to modify the CVT calibration.

thanks,
steve

This would be a software program, and as iirc, it is locked down pretty good for the patriot, and nobody has hacked it yet.

diablosport has "cracked" the code for 2011+ models but they dont offer anything for our motors :-(, i would love a program that gets me a few more MPGs. The ONLY place that i know of that can do it is bgchrysler, they have some special arrangement with chrysler. You'd have to send in your PCM to get flashed.
