CVT hesitation

My '08 Patriot CVT started making a noise like a 10 speed bike needing derailleur adjustment. The dealer replaced the CVT (thank you, lifetime powertrain warranty!). Now the car hesitates noticeably from a dead start and when I step on the throttle after letting off. This seems to be exacerbated by the extremely hot weather requiring the A/C to be on, but it will do it with the A/C off too. Any experience with this? I'm hoping there's some simple adjustment.

No real good guesses on this but it would be under warranty and I'd take it to the dealer for them to find out.

Maybe something needs to be "reflashed." I agree with letting the dealer find out.

Thats what I was thinking. Running old software on a new tranny. But then I'm not hip to such things.
