Gear Stick Knob

I have a Patriot but find the chrome looking knob really plain so would like to change it with the compass knob which has jeep on it, does anyone know how to take them off?

Thanks

Just pull straight up. It's that easy.

Anybody have a part number for the Compass knob? That sounds like something I want to get.

The MK Parts book only lists one, 0527 3590AA. Best check with the dealer. This is the one used on my Compass with AutoStick.

I think the one with the Jeep Logo is only on the Compass. The plain one pictured in your link is more like what's on the Patriot.

Thanks Matt! $11 is cheap for a Jeep part . Also looks like you drop the leading "0" from the number in the parts book. That'll help in parts searches.
