Considering a 2012 Patriot...
Our '02 Dakota truck is near to retire and we are in the market for a new one and the '12 Patriot is one of the vehicles that we consider to purchase, however, reading different review ratings gets me thinking twice and preventing me to pull the trigger. Its nice to have a forum like this and it would be nicer if anyone will share their experience in owning a Patriot (performance, highway driving, engine noise issue, cvt, etc). Any feedback will be appreciated and wil help me decide. Thanks
I just bought a 2012 Patriot last Monday. I haven't had it a week yet, so it is hard to rate it yet. So far I am happy. It doesn't handle super on the highway, but it isn't a car either and considering my other Jeep is a 1997 lifted TJ, it handles like a dream compared to that. I like the Patriot so far though. Auto start, heated seats, and Sirius radio are comforts that I am not used to yet, but I am definitely diggin them. Also getting 21 City and 26 Highway are nice.
my mom has had hers for about 5 years now. loves it as far as i can tell. good gas milage and we get a letter from the dealer every 6months asking to buy it back for 15,000. don't know what thats about but i know its good. she hasn't had any issues so far

Just bought a '12 Patriot Latitude 4wd for my retired mother. It's a pretty nice package and should be a good vehicle.

I'm looking at pulling the trigger on one this Saturday does anyone have anything to say about the packages offered? Im looking at getting the latitude package with the all weather package and sound system upgrade and 430n nav radio. Plus the security and connivence package. I want the fd 2 package but I really have no need for it...

Just bought a 2007 patriot, had a 98 dodge ram 1500. Way better gas mileage and handles great in the snow and rain. Everything is stock in it but the speakers sucks. Definitely upgrade the sound system.
