Compass Warranty Tow Hitch

Hi all,

I just recently purchased a new 2014 Compass Sport 4x4. I was looking into installing a tow hitch on the rear for my pre existing bike rack. Any thoughts on if this will void the warranty? I have no intentions of towing or hauling anything.

Thanks!

Jackie

Can't see why it would void the warranty, especially if you're only using it for a bike rack. Great idea, too. I've used hitch mounted racks on every vehicle I've owned for the last twenty years. Definitely the best way to haul your bikes! Never had a complaint from a dealer, even with after market hitches.

Great, thanks! I agree, it's convenient and easy. I've had nothing but problems with the trunk and strap style ones. Usually end up with a tangled mess or scratching the car.
