will the magnaflow give a noticeable increase in performance with the k&n over the stock exhaust and k&n?

This is in the FAQ section of Magnaflow's site:

Question: How much horsepower can I expect to gain?

Answer: It's different for every car, but typically expected gains are in the average range of 10%.

Seems a bit high since the Calibers Dyno show's about 10hp but with the CAI, we may be able to see that.

Happy I waited too since they finally have the Compass in as an option and the item # is different than the Caliber's. They just dont have the dyno or pic of it up.

Yes this system will most defiantly provide an added performance and also a deep tone.

Thanks for your interest in Magnaflow

I had this in another thread but it also fits well over here.

Something I noticed about off-the-line performance last night. Wife was driving the Compass (CVT) and I was following in my daughters '98 Dakota V-6, 5 speed, 2WD and I had to get into it to keep up! The Dakota is no race truck but certainly not a slug bug either. Some of us had talked about how our wife's got less mpg than us guys did, so I thought that now I knew why. WRONG! She said that she wasn't putting her foot in it and the mpg had INCREASED by over a mile per gallon on the EVIC from when we borrowed the daughters truck! Talk about a PERCIEVRED difference!

Stop the trolling or you'll be out of here. This is your only warning and yes I saw your other post too. I have pictures of a Wrangler being towed out of the Badlands by a FD I Compass. Get over yourself!

My wife's 2012 has no such delay. It did have one for the first several hundred miles of ownership (bought it new), but at its current 2500 miles or so, no delay at all. It keeps up with city traffic just fine.
