Compass Limited Tires

Does anyone have any recommendations for new tires for a limited with 18" wheels? I am looking for all season tires for sure, and Do Not want to use the Firehawk's again as tread life and noise has been horrible on them. Thanks in advance!

Definitely check out what the TireRack has to offer! These are my favorites: Bridgestone H/L Alenza 235/55R18 spendy but currently have a $100 gift card to go with them. They also go on sale in the fall. Also check out our Tire Chart and plug the sizes in at the TireRack.

Thanks All. I will probably go with the Alenza's. I am just happy seeing the tire chart knowing that I have other options. I am Highly dissatisfied with the firehawks that they put on this car new. With rotating the tires every 6000 miles I would hope to get more then 28,000 miles out of the tires. I see other people have gotten less.

I still have my originals with maybe 5K left on them. You could have them for free but they aren't worth what it would cost to ship them.

One Last question

Last question on this thread,, will the slightly larger tires effect my warranty any? I worry about the dealership coming back if I have a problem down the road and claiming that since I added bigger tires they are not gonna cover a transmission/engine problem. Thanks again!

They would have to PROVE that the taller tire was the cause of the problem. See this thread: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showp...&postcount=153

And those BS Alenza are only 0.2" over the tallest tire used on the Patriot. No problems there.

Am I hearing correctly...the compass tires are only expected to last 28,000 miles, best case!? I got 50 K out of my last set of Firestones....

The Firehawk GT's don't get very good tread wear, "about" 30K. I changed out mine at 23K heading into winter. There's 4/32" - 5/32" tread depth left on them.
