Compass front end design

Just surfing the internet I recently discovered the year old Trailhawk concept.

I know it's a larger platform than the MKs, but what struck me is how similar the body style is to the Compass.

How hard would it be to retrofit a compass front end to resemble the Trailhawks?

Seems like just a different hood design that overhung the lights, and smaller rallye lights just inward of the headlights would achieve a similar look.

No accounting for the blinkers, but it may be close enough without them.

Please, no calling it a chickenhawk.

edit, here's a side by side image for comparison, it wouldn't look as close as I'd hoped, but definately would beef up the Compass front end.

I've thought about getting a damaged stock one off of eBay or the junk yard and doing some plastic surgery. It's on my list but hasn't worked it's way to the top yet. I was considering trying to make it look more like a Libby and use the Libby brush guard. Still in the "thinking" stage.

Yeah, plastic surgery definately on the hood. The Trailhawk's hood stops short and there light covers are part of the front fascia. May need something like a custom fiberglass hood, possibly would help with engine noise too.

That and get the rallye package installed, and zoom, meaner compass frontend.

Nice photo shop. My thoughts were more on the bumper and fascia area but I'm open for new ideas!
