just checked the compass booklet you get at the dealer, in order to have the evic and i would guess the silver accents, you had to get the driver convenienve group(which includes the evic)

Do you have the Drivers Convenience Group?

Wow! Here's a pretty option. Just offering as FYI only! Wood grain kits (but not for the guages).

It's looking like it's the Drivers Convenience Group gauge sub assembly that has the bright surround and has nothing to do with being a Sport or Limited. Fascinating.

I was about to purchase a kit through Ebay but wanted an actual carbon fiber and not just a carbon fiber look. Turns out this guy sells the fake one. After doing some research I came across many sites but here's 2 with a pretty large selection of colors/finishes to choose from

I've looked at the dash kits, but so far - at least on the ones I've looked at - I haven't been impressed with how they cover the center stack and window switch bezels. I wouldn't mind having burled wood, but I'm after a factory look. All of the kits I've seen simply cover the face of the various silver pieces in the passenger compartment, but leave the sides (about 1/2") uncovered. Not only do I find this unattractive (my opinion only - you are welcome to disagree) I have concerns that the edges of the veneer would chip, since it doesn't wrap to the edge of the piece that it covers. However, I'm not sure that veneer can be easily molded to fit around compound curves - at least not at a price I'd be willing to pay. When it's all said and done, I guess I'll have to be happy with the slightly utilitarian look of the Compass' interior, and leave the woodgrain to the "vanity SUVs" such as the Land Rovers and Benzes.

On the other hand, I do wish that someone would produce a kit that matches the silver accents, and covers the strip of small circular nibs molded into the dash...
