my muffler was painted flat black, odd the way they do and do not do certain things, my limited does not have the silver dash trim around the gauge cluster? brochure shows it, website shows it! the dealer and jeep can not explain why some do & some don't?! great quality control, a least all 4 of tires match! lol
Do you have the Drivers Convenience Group?

I've looked at the dash kits, but so far - at least on the ones I've looked at - I haven't been impressed with how they cover the center stack and window switch bezels. I wouldn't mind having burled wood, but I'm after a factory look. All of the kits I've seen simply cover the face of the various silver pieces in the passenger compartment, but leave the sides (about 1/2") uncovered. Not only do I find this unattractive (my opinion only - you are welcome to disagree) I have concerns that the edges of the veneer would chip, since it doesn't wrap to the edge of the piece that it covers. However, I'm not sure that veneer can be easily molded to fit around compound curves - at least not at a price I'd be willing to pay. When it's all said and done, I guess I'll have to be happy with the slightly utilitarian look of the Compass' interior, and leave the woodgrain to the "vanity SUVs" such as the Land Rovers and Benzes.
On the other hand, I do wish that someone would produce a kit that matches the silver accents, and covers the strip of small circular nibs molded into the dash...
