I thought all models had the silver accents on the center dash and door switch panels.

However, only the Limited has silver accents in the gauge panel.

Pictures?

Help me out here. Are we talking about the top of the dash or the center stack? Here's mine, Limited version.

Well, mine is like yours except for the silver trim in your gauge panel. The non-Limited models are just black.

Other than that, I've never seen any pictures of any model without the silver around the center stack and door panels.

Is that Yoda?

I had an "out of mind" thought. Is it a Sport Instrument cluster and a Caliber Stack? The Caliber R/T is supposed to be "bright" like the Compass'; The Caliber SE and SXT are 'not" whatever that means...

I'll make an assumption that the stacks are the same on Compass and Caliber, if that is true then for the CVT without AutoStik you can get a red, blue or yellow center stack, if somebody wanted something like that.

What I have thought about is the Carbon Fiber Stack that's available for the Caliber. Here's a picture of it. Just food for thought, nothing more.

That's probably it, but it's the combination of BOTH the Limited trim level AND the driver information center (EVIC). I have a Sport with EVIC, and it doesn't have the silver accents. Perhaps DCX didn't want to have to tool up for four different gauge clusters (Sport with EVIC, Sport without EVIC, Limited with EVIC, Limited without EVIC) and took a guess that not many Limiteds would be built without EVIC. Then again, it may have been a supplier shortage, or even a simple mistake.

Guess it's a personal preference, because I don't find the standard gauge cluster to be objectionable...but then, I tend to like that area of the dash to be clear of anything that could possibly cause glare.

Speaking of glare, this is my first vehicle with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and I am REALLY sold on this feature!

Yes, mine is a Limited with EVIC. Maybe it's going to take more feed back from others to understand what was used on what. I don't find either one objectionable. Even though they call it "bright" trim it's not like its the chrome from the 60's, reflection is not a problem. It's like a brushed silver.

I still think they should have put in an Oil Pressure and Volt meter in the panel.

Does your center stack match the gray in the cluster?

And your welcome on posting the picture, no problem, any time!
