Bug Magnet Windshield

Has anyone noticed what a bug magnet the Jeep Patriot windshield is??
My Mountaineer deflected insects left and right but it seems that the Patriot has an affinity for the the little buggers and holds onto them. Countless times I've had a big one splatter on the window on the highway.

I've never owned a vehicle in over 45 years of driving that didn't collect tons of bugs on the windshield. Usually right after washing my vehicle I get smacked with a big juicy one right in my line of vision. RainX does help make cleaning them off easier.

YUP. Worst vehicle I have ever had for it. Grille area and front bumper too. But you have to expect it driving a square brick.

I did notice the grille likes to eat them and not wipe its mouth afterwards.

I know what you are saying. I went through a bottle of bug shield washer fluid within two weeks. Worst thing is getting bugs after washing the car.

The prestone bug wash does a better job than the rainx. But then you don't get the benefits of the rainx treatment.

Been there done that. At least mine is white so it doesn't look quite so bad.
