Bucking when apply throttle from low speed

I have a 2007 jeep compass and the issue occurs when im at low speeds (>25mph). When i am coasting below 25 and I apply a bit of throttle the car bucks/shakes. This happens no matter how much or little gas i give it, even if I smoothly apply gas. I also notice this happens when the car switches from open loop fuel setting to closed loop fuel setting (I've been driving around with a bluetooth OBD2 adapter connected to my phone to get mpg and stuff). Not sure if this is common or not happens almost daily. does not happen at higher speed.

When the car is hot ( at operating temp.) it also starts really hard, like it cranks maybe once and then fires up but kinda shakes the car alot when it fires up, not sure if this is a common thing associated with a 4 cylinder (my first 4 cylinder car).
