Was the Boston Acoustics set up available with the 230 head unit?

Or did you have to upgrade to the 430 or 730 to get the Boston Acoustics speaker set up?

the sun/sound group is independant of the choice of radio. you can get it with the base radio, but it will come with sirius radio as well.

My 230 has Sirus, etc.

nd by that answer, it sound like a retrofit of the Boston Accoustics set up (or at the minimum the related amplifier) is plug and play to my existing head unit. Curious as I have no amplifier at all by the spare tire. I guess once I open everything dealing with that will jump out at me.

Related, is there somewhere I can download wiring schematics for my Compass so I can preview the wiring differences between the various set ups? I'm big on leveraging into what the factory already put there for any retrofit projects.

It could be plug and play. Seems like manufactures make it difficult these days by having to flash the computer to accept changes like that.

For what its worth, i dont think the Boston system sounds very good. It does have a low pass crossover for the front door 6x9's, and high pass crossover for the dash tweeters. But the Boston dash speakers are 2 1/2" speakers. Not really a tweeter.
