Mine ONLY do it first thing in the morning, in reverse, not garaged. NEVER after being parked at work, day job, or any other time. I've never given it much thought.

Rust on rotors is nothing new

Rotors rusting is nothing new- happens to all makes and models. The rust will happen when there is moisture in the air- does not need to be outside. Rotors will even be rusted in the hour it takes me to wash the Jeep. This also happens on my Mustang and did it on my Honda, Toyota, Chevy, VW- geez I have gone through way too many autos . The rust is harmless and is gone after a few stops.
