I use it a lot when towing my boat to help get up to speed faster and also to help slow down. I also find myself using it a lot for emergency stopping. Full time though, no.

I've noticed it helps me get going quicker, but haven't used it to slow down. When I rented a Mustang convertible in Orlando in January I used the Auto-Stick full time and it was an absolute blast. I know a Mustang convertible has a little more manual shift appeal than a Jeep Patriot..

My boat pushes the max towing capacity of the Patriot and using AS helps a LOT when slowing down. The brakes are "ok" on the Patriot but nothing special especially when towing a heavy load( for the vehicle ). I also find it helps me slow down much faster in an emergency stop situation.
