Does anyone out there have a tow bar for their compass? If so, I have a few questions.
What kind did you get?
How much?
Where did you get it?
Did you remove the front bumper?
If not, did you cut holes in the bumper?
How did you wire it up? Just use the magnetic stick-on lights?
And lastly, do you have any pics?

Ok, so I looked into the tow bar thing and decided it was a bad idea anyways. Has anyone towed their Compass on a car dolly before. The manual is really unhelpful on what needs to be done to tow the Compass. It just says not to tow it flat, ever. It talks about some type of override switch on the side of the center console so that you can put the tranny in neutral and take the key out, but I haven't tried it yet because it isn't 100% clear what the "override" does. If I did get the key to the lock position with the tranny in neutral, would that be ok to tow like that or should I just take out the rear driveshaft and call it a day? I haven't had a chance to really explore all my options yet. Right now I'm trying to find a way to wire everything up so that I can control the brake lights on the compass through my trailer wiring harness.

Any help really is appreciated. Also, where is the cheapest place to get a FSM for the Compass?

Ok, I just tried the little "override" switch to try and get the Jeep out of park without the key, but no such luck. I tried just inserting the ket into the ignition and the little switch in different combinations, but no such luck. Anybody done this before?
