For sure. I'll try to take them tonight. The template in my pics gives you a pretty good idea. Basically, they cut out a half-oval in the middle of the rectangular carving on the fascia. I have no idea why they made this carving in the first place. A ½” flexible black rubber stick-on strip is included to apply around the cut-out to protect the paint.

This is gonna look nice. I like the way it really tucks up underneath the bumper! Great pics, Thanks! I can hardly wait for the "after" shots.

I would be afraid to cut it myself. LOL. I hope they're better than I am

Aw, heck. A chain saw would take care of that real quick! Where I moved from, we used to trim our toenails with a chain saw, but then a lot of my friends were called "Stumpy".

That's why they give you the trim piece to cover it. That way you don't have to worry about rough cuts and prettying up the edges.

Want to talk about nervous, last year I had to cut a couple of inches off a tapered (sorta bell shaped at the top) motorcycle windshield I'd bought for winter use as it was just above eye level (too dangerous if it fogs). I had to not only make that cut even and match on both sides, but I had to pretty up the edges with sandpaper.

I have steady hands, but when I have to do something precise like that, I sometimes inexplicably forget how to use them. Something would come over me and, PRESTO, I need a new bumper. Hehe.

Now I just need to get pictures of a Compass that came with the Trailer Tow Prep Group. It would be nice to compare the two.

I THINK that the ones from the factory with the tow package do NOT include the hitch. The hitch is a dealer installed.

I think I too remember that being the case. But I'm sure you could verify via the Jeep website, just go to the build-a-Compass section and see...
